An Ordinance Authorizing a Special Appropriation
from the General Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the lst..day of April, 1974, at a regular
meeting of the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville, Indiana,
held in the City-County Building of said City, the Common Council
passed a resolution vising the 6th day of May, 1974, at 7:30 P.M.,
at the
City-County Building in said City as the time
a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose
and determining whether an emergency exists for the

and place for

making an appropriation from the funds hereinafter set out,
and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the the appropriation
hereinafter set out and for the purpose stated:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
NOW, THEREFORE,
OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby is
appropriated the following:
A special appropriation from the General
$26,755.00 for the following purposes:
For the acquisition of an easement, the
Fund in the amount of
sum of $6,000.00; for
the construction on such easement of an energy dissipator for
storm water drainage, the sum of $21,755.00; totaling in all
$26,755.00.
Such sums have been deposited with the City for these particular
purposes by the Jeffer~onville Department of Redevelopment.
