HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-R-08RESOLUTION NO. 74-R- 8 WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, has heretofore indicated as the sense of the council that the City as a part of the fringe benefits of the employees of the City should contribute to the employees, and WHEREAS, the cost of Blue Cross-Blue Shield insurance for the Council believes that a fair share for the City to contribute would be 70% of the total for a single man's policy plus a $1.38 on a monthly basis for 80% Major Medical. This total being a sum of $15,33. The City will therefore pay on each policy the sum of $10.73. BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City shall contribute to the Blue Cross-Blue the sum BE any degree he exceed $10.73. but shall pay Adopted by Indiana, this Shield for each employee, except elected officials, of $10.73, beginning January 1, 1974. IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any employee may participate to or she may desire but the City's share shall not Elected officials may participate in the group policy 100% of the cost thereof from his or her own funds. the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, day of April, 1974.
