An Ordinance Authorizing the Conveyance
of Real Estate.
WHEREAS, the Department of Redevelopment in order to complete
its approved plan must purchase from the city real estate in the
Claysburg Neighborhood Redevelopment Area the following described
real estate:
L~t No. 17 in Block No. 133 in the City of
jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana.
and WHEREAS, the real property was originally purchased for
the purpose of constructing a sewer line as a part of the general
sewer system and
WHEREAS, such property is at this time surplus except for the
necessity of retaining the easement for the sewer line,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council that the
City by its duly authorized officers for and in consideration of the
sum of $1,320.00 transfer~ and o~nvey? the above described property
to the Department of Redevelopment, retaining an easement for the
purpose of maintaining the sewer line in such property now located.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
