An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriations
fmom the Parks Department Non-Reverting Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 3rd day of March, 1975, at a regular
meeting of the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville, Indiana,
held in the City-County Building in said City, ~he Common Council
passed a resolution fixing the 7th day of April, 1975, at ~:30 P.M.,
at the City-County B~ilding in said City as the time and place for
a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose of considering
and determining whether an emergency exists for the passage of an
ordinance making an appropriation from the funds hereinafter set
out, and
WHERE~B, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of the
City of jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appropriations
hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated:
Se. ction 1..
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated the following:
An appropriation from the Parks Department Non-Reverting
Fund in the amount of $10~000.00 for constructing, lighting
& fencing tennis courts at Memorial Park.
An appropriation from the Parks Department Non-Reverting
Fund in the amount of $68,000.00 for the developement of
park property known as the Ash Estate.

This Ordinance sh~ll be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
