An Ordinance Amending the Zoning ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville,
Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being ordinance No. 1527, be amended
as follows:
Section 5. Definition.
Add definition number 40A. Mobile Homo - Living
quarters such as house 5railersf tru~k bodies, bus bodies, railroad
cars, shacks and improvised shelters which.may be moved by truck,
tractor, automobile or horses or can be carried, ~ransported or towed
from one place to ~other without the use of regular house moving
equipment; the use of such living quarters shall incoude the acts of
sleepting, preparation of meals, or any sanitary measure such as
bathing, dishwashing, or laundering clothing or any natural or performed
operation which provides waste materials.
Section 21. Administratioq.
Add sub-section J. - After approval of the Board
of Zoning Appeals the City Building Commissioner is authorized to
issue a temporary permit for a period of one year for the use of a
mobile home as an office. Application for ren~al for said permi~ mus~
be made to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
Section 24. Filing Fees.
The amount of the fee provided for under sub-section
A shall be in the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00).
The amoun~ of ~he fee provided for under sub-section
B shall be in the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).
The amount of the fee provided for under sub-section
C shall be in the sum~of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).
The amoun~ of ~he fee prow[dod for under sub-section
E shall be in the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).
The amounu of the f¢e provided for under sub-sectiOr
G shall be in.the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).
Add sub-section H 5o read - For each permit, permitting the
use of a mobile home for an office for a period of one year, under
Section 21, sub-section J, a fee of'Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00)
shall be paid to and collected by ~he Building Commissioner.
