An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriations
from Department of Redevelopment Non-Reverting
Fund, the General Fund and the Revenue Sharing
Fund
WHEREAS, heretofore on the //~day of December, 1975, at a ~_/~
meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana,
held in the City-County Building of said City, the Corm~on Council
passed a resolution fixing the 5th day of January, 1976, at 7:30 P.M.,
at the City-County Building in said City as the time and place for
a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose of considering
and determining whehter an emergency exists for the passage of an
ordinance making an appropriation from the funds hereinafter set out,
and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has ~iven notice of the time, place
and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appropriations
hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby is
appropriated the following:
A special appropriation from the Department of Redevelopment
Non-Reverting Fund for traveling expense in the amount of
$2,500.00.
A special appropriation from the General Fund for the City's
share of the Community D~velopment Site Improvement Act in
the amount of $35,521.10.
An appropriation from Revenue Sharing Fund for the Parks
Department f6r repairs to the Fieldhouse in the amount of
$3,500.00.
Section 2.
This Ordinance
its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
