Residential to B-1 Local Business.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, that the Zoning Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1527, be amended
in that the property hereinafter described is reclassified and rezoned
Being all of Lots #30, ~31 and #32, part of Lots #29~, #33
#34 and #35 and part ofa 10 foot. wide alley (vacated) lying between
same, in Block #133 in the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County,
Indiana as shown in Plat Book 3, Page 77 and being further described
as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Spring Street and Twelfth
Street as shown on the Plat of New Claysburg Subdivision, Sector
Ntmber One, as recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 63 of said County
cords;
Thence 68.12 feet along the arc of a curve to the right, having
a raditm of 50 feet and being subtended by a long chord having a
bearing of N.21°t4'50'q5. , and a distance of 62.97 feet to a point;
Thence N.60°16'43''B., along the Southern line of Twelfth Street
227.86 feet to a point;
Thence 53.23 feet along the arc of a curve to the right, having
a radius of' 50 feet and being subtended by a long chord having a
bearing of S89°13'17'~. , and a distance of 50.75 feet to a point in
the Northwest Right-of-Way line of the B.& O. Railroad;
Thence 295.19 feet along the arc of a curve to the left, having
a radius of 1614.48 feet and being subtended by a chord having a
bearing of S.32°35'40'Bg., and a distance of 294.78 feet to a point
in said Right-of-Way line;
Thence S.38°58'29'5V. , along said Right-of-Way line 100.00 feet
to a point in the Eastern line of Spring Street;
Thence N.17°47'02'~., along said Eastern line 162.91 feet to
T~ PLACE OF BEGINNING.
Containing 35,287 square feet, more or less and being subject to
a 10 foot wide sto~n sewer easement, the cenrerline of said easement
being described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of
Spring Street and Twelfth Street as shown on the Plat of New Clays-
burg Subdivision, Sector Number One; ~enc¢ S.17°47'02'~. , along the
Eastern line of Spring Street 162.91 feet to a point in the Northwest
line 71.49 feet to 1lie TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING of said centerline:
Thence N. 29o14'40"E., 318.12 feet to a point, THE END of said center-
line.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its pas-
sage and approval.
