A Resolution Concerning Mass
Public Transportation
WHEREAS the Home Transit Company has
the Public Transportation system for the

City of Jeffersonville,
WHEREAS, a dire need and an emergency is and has been created
by the cessation of such transportation service;
NOW THEREFORE be it hereby resolved by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana, that the
Public Service Commission of Indiana and the Interstate Commerce
Commission be and are hereby urged to do all things possible to
expedite the transfer of the necessary franchises and permits to
in order that such firms can immediately begin operations and
relieve the extreme hardship of the users of such Transporation.
