R-2 Residential to B-2 Commercial.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance No.
1527, be amended in that the property hereinafter described is
reclassified and rezoned as follows:
From R-2 Residential to B-2 Commercial.
Being a part of Lots %15, %16, %17, %18 and all of Lot 19
and a part of a 10 foot wide alley all in Block %133, a
part of vacated 13th Street, part of Block %143, part of
a 20 foot wide vacated alley in said Block %143, all being
in the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana and
being further described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Eastern line of
Spring Street and the Southern line of New Wal!~Street,
as shown in Plat Book %8, Page %71 of said County Records:
Thence 105.65 feet along the arc of a curve to the right,
having a radius of 50.00 feet and being subtended by a
long chord having a bearing of N. 42° 45' 04" E., and a
distance of 87.07 feet to a point; Thence S. 76° 42' 50"
E., along the Southwest line of New Wall Street, 31.28 feet
to a point; thence 163.33 feet along the arc of a curve
to the right, having a radius of 360.56 feet and being
subtended by a long chord having a bearing of S. 63° 44'
26" E., and a distance of 161.93 feet to a point of com-
pound curve; thence 158.79 feet along the arc of a curve
to the right having a radius of 621.35 feet and being
subtended by a chord having a bearing of S. 43° 26' 46"
E., and a distance of 158.36 feet to an iron pipe in the
Western line of New Wall Street; thence S. 58° 48' 32" W.,
295.63 feet to a "~K" nail in the Eastern line of Spring
Street. Thence N. 17° 47' 02" W., along said Eastern line
297.17 feet to THE PLACE OF BEGINNING.
Containing 1.539 acre (67,031 square feet), more or less,
and being subject to the 3 easements of Record in favor
of the City of Jeffersonville, for ingress and egress, for
the purpose of maintaining existing sewers in said tract.
