An Ordinance Authorizing The Transfer of
a Real Estate Lease
WHEREAS, Indiana University is ~t present the Lessee in a lease
from the City for the property in Warder Park upon which the classroom
building and the public library now set, and
WHEREAS, Indiana University has now sold such buildings to Clark
County and has requested that the City authorize the transfer of
the ground lease to said county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that the City of Jeffersonville
does authorize its Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer to execute such instruments
as maybe necessary to transfer such lease from the University of
Indiana to the County of Clark.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
