An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriations
from the Revenue Sharing Fund and the General
Fund.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to
appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Clark County, Indiana, that for the expenses of said City the following
additional

several funds herein named and for the purposes herein
subject to the laws governing the same:
Special appropriations from the
Revenue sharing F~nd for the
Street Departraent for the
following:
1 Motor Grader
i - 1 1/2 Ton Cab and Chassis and
Salt Spreader for 9 foot by
7 1/2 foot Dump Body
1 - 2 1/2 Ton Dump Truth Complete
with Snow Plough and Salt spreader
Chemicals for Street
18 Yar~ Packer
special appropriations from the
Revenue Sharing Fund for the
Parks Department for the following:
Sand blasting the E~ifi~ Lane swimming
Pool 2" line from Highway
Installing water
62 to park shelter house located at
River City Park.
Special appropriations from the

An additional and special appropriation
from the Revenue Sharing Fund for the
purpose of constructing a roadway from
Highway 62 to the Shelter House of
River City Park.

An additional appropriation from the
General Fund for the purpose of paying
the city's share of the funding necessary in
1977 for the preparation of a comprehensive
plan ~or the City of jeffersonville by
the Department of Redevelopment, which
plan shall include housing, recreation,
utilities, transportation and such other
matters and things as may be included as the
work on such plan progresses. It is
the intention of the City to eventaully
fund this comprehensive plan for a
total of $30,000.00. $15,000.00 for
1977 and $15,000 for 1978.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
