RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, PETITIONING PUBLIC SERVICE
INDIANA'S REQUEST FOR A RATE INCREASE AT THIS TIME.
WHEREAS, the common council of the City of jeffersonville
finds the propgsed PUBLIC SERVICE INDIANA rate increase
to be unwarranted, inflationary and detrimental to the
best interests of the City of jeffersonville, and its
Residents, the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville
hereby Petitions the Indiana Public Service Commlsion
toDeny Public Service Indiana's request for a rate
increase at this time.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the C~erk-Treasurer of said
City of jeffersonville, Indiana is hereby ordered and
directed to give notice as provided by law.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of jeffersonvi~le,
Indiana, this 7th day of August, 1978.
