JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT TO
HAVE CITY-O~ED PROPERTY NEEDED BY THE PROPOSED
MINI-THEME PARK APPRAISED
WHEREAS, the Con, non Council (herein referred to as the "Governing
BODY") of the City of Jeffersonville, County of Clark, State of Indiana
(herein called the "Locality") has general knowledge of the Title IX Economic
Adjustment Program Application which has been submitted to the Economic
.Development Administration for the acquisition of the B & O Railroad land,
the acquisition ~: City-owned property and the private development and
investment to construct a Mini-Theme Park; and,
~I4EREAS, it is desirable and in the public interest that the
Governing Body. have certain City-owned property appraised and said property
is described as follows:
East half of Rader Park in the City of Jeffersonville, Clark
County, Indiana;
Part of Block 15 in the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County,
Indiana; and
Part of Block 22 in the City of Jeffersonville, Clark Cou~ty,
Indiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CO~ON COUNCIL OF THE
CITf OF JEFFBRSONVILLE, INDIANA:
1. That it is hereby found and determined that the above
described property be appraised by two (2) qualified
appraisers.
2. That the Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment
is hereby authorized to have said property appraised on
behalf of the Governing Body.
3. That the Governing Body will insure the costs for' said
appraisals.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk-Treasurer of said City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana is hereby ordered and directed to give notice as
provided by law.
Adopted by the Comon Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana,. this 20th day of June, 1978.
