HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-R-12 BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, that said Common Council will meet in the City-County Building
at jeffersonville, Indiana, on the day of~ 1978, at 7:30 P.M.,
for the purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency exists
for the passage of an ordinance making the following appropriations
in addition to the annual budget adopted for the fiscal year of 1978.
Special appropriations from the
Revenue Sharing F%knd for the
Fire Department for the following:
9251 Repairs - Building & Structures
~722 Motor Equipment
~ 51 Insurance & Workmens Compensation

General Fund of the City
for the Polic~ Department for the
service and repair of two (2) Military
Vehicles.

Revenue Sharing Fund for the purchase
and installation of a variable speed
pump in the Spring Street Lift Station.
(Sewage Department) 50,000.00
A special appropriation from the
Federal Revenue Sharing Fund for
the Parks Department for replacing
heating system at the Chestnut Street
Youth Center. 9,900.00
An appropriation from the General
Fund for the Police Department for
security costs for Steamboat Days. 1,000.00
A special and additional appropriation
from Public Works Employment Act
Title 2 Anti-Recession Funds for
necessary work to correct erosion of
River Bank. 20,538.00
Local Roads and Streets Special Dist.
Fund. Construction and Re-Construction
of Streets. 162,314.92
Engineering, resurfacing, land acquisition
restoration or rehabilitation of both local and
arterial road and street systems.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk-Treasurer of said City
of jeffersonville, Indiana, is hereby ordered and directed to give
notice as provided by law.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville,
