An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property From
R-2 Residential to B-1 Local Business, and
From R-2 Residential to B-2 Service Business.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 1527, be amended in that the property hereinafter described
is reclassified and rezoned as follows:
From R-2 Residential to B-1 Local Business:
Lots 13 and 14, Block 69 in the Enlargement of the
City of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana,
fronting on Walnut Street.
From R-2 Residential to B-2 Service Business:
TRACT A.
Being part of Lots 7 and 8 of the William C. Chitdress
Subdivision of Woodland Court, as shown in Plat Book 3,
Page 97, in the office of the Recorder of Clark County,
Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows,
to-wit: Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot No. 7
which point is also the common corner of Lots 6, 7, 24 and
18; thence westwardly and along the line dividing Lots 7
and 8 from Lot-18 a distance of 106 feet to a stake;
thence northwestwardly and along a line parallel with the
line dividing Lots 7 and 8 a distance of 57 feet to a
point in the north line of William Page Rudey's land;
thence Eastwardly and along a line parallel with the
line dividing Lots 7, 8 and 9 from Lot 18, 106 feet to
a stake in the line dividing Lots 6 and 7; thence south-
wardly along said dividing line no the place of beginning.
TRACT B.
A part of Survey No. Eleven (11) of the Illinois Grant
and more particularly described as Lot No. Eighteen (18)
of the William C. Childress Subdivision of Woodland Court.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following described portion thereof
conveyed by real esnane contract dated August 20, 1969,
no William T. Coleman, and more particularly described as
follows: Being part of Lot No. 18 of William C. Childress
Subdivision of Woodland Court as shown in Plat Book No. 3
an Page 97, in the Office of the Recorder of Clark County,
Indiana, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning an the north corner of said Lot No. 18 of Woodland
Court; thence southwestwardly along the line dividing Lots
7 and 8 and 18, a distance of 106 feet to a points the

at the nornheasn corner of Lot No. 7; thence westwardly
along the north line of said Lons 7 and 8 a disnance of
104.4 feet no a point; thence an right angles southwardly
and p~rallel with the line dividing Lots 7 and 8 a distance
of 143 feet to a point; thence a~ right angles and parallel
with the south line of said Lots 7 and 8 a distance of
104.4 feet to nhe easn line of Lot No. 7; thence at right
angles northwardly with the line dividing Lots 6 and 7 a
