A Resolution requesting an appeal of the City of
Jeffersonviile tax levy.
WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville's growth has
exceeded the State average growth.
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Jefferson-
ville formally request's that the State Tax Commission grant
an appeal of the City's Tax Levy.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jefferson-
ville, Indiana this 22nd day of July, 1980.

Council to pass a Resolution askinq the
grant an appeal of the tax levy.~
would like to ask the
State Tax Commission to
jeffersonVille's growth has exceeded the State average growth
and, therefore, I feel it to be in the best interest of the citizens
of jeffersonville if the Council formally adopts a Re~olution
asking the State Tax Commission for an appeal.
This Appeal, if approved, will benefit the City in the amount of
$100,000 or more.
