Whereas the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville
has for sometime been investigating the feasibility and the
benefits to be gained by a computerization of the Sewer use
charges and the billing of such charges; and,
Whereas after having investigated these matters it is
now concluded that it is in the best interest of all concePned,
including the Sewage Department, the people served by the Sewage
facilities and the City in general to computerize the billing
and the charges for such billing by the department:
It is therefore resolved that the Board of Public Works of
the City' be, and it hereby is, directed and authorized to
employ an experienced consultant to lead, direct and carry out
the necessary steps to affect the computerization of the sewer
use charges and the customer billing for such charges.
