AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
JEFFERSONVILLE NOISE ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the COMMON COUNCIL of the CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE
in passage of JEFFERSONVILLE'S original noise ordinance 81-OR-
17 (passed 5-4-81), and its subsequent amending ordinance 86-OR-54
(passed 10-18-86), found in JEFFERSONVILLE CODE, SECTION
94.19, did not exempt CHURCH BELLS, and
WHEREAS, the COMMON COUNCIL now desires to exempt CHURCH BELLS
from regulation by JEFFERSONVILLE'S noise ordinance,
THEREFORE LET IT BE ORDAINED THAT:
SECTION 1: CHURCH BELLS are now exempt from the control and authority of
the noise ordinances of the CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after it's
passage by the COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE and acceptance and signing by THE MAYOR
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE.
