ORDINANCE NO.
An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property
From R-2 Residential to B-i, Business.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1527, be
amended in that the property herein described is reclassified and
rezoned as follows:
From R-2 Residential to B-i, Business.
Being a part of Lot ~19 in Block 69 of the
City of 3effersonville, Clark County, Indiana
and being further described as followws:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said
Block 69, same being the Southwest corner of
Seventh and Watt Streets; Thence
Southeasterly along the Western line of Watt
Street 100 feet to an iron pin, THE TRUE
PLACE OF BEGINNING.
Thence continuing Southeasterly along the
Western line of Watt Street 10 feet to an
iron pin;
Thence Southwesterly and parallel to Seventh
Street 166.80 feet to an iron pipe in the
Eastern fine of a 20 foot wide alley;
Thence Northwesterly along said Eastern line
10 feet to an iron pin;
Thence Northeasterly and parallel to Seventh
Street 166.80 feet to THE TRUE PLACE OF
BEGINNING.
Containing 1668 square feet, more or less.
Being a part of Lot ~19 and all of Lots #20,
~21 and ~22 in Block 69 of the city of
jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana and
being further described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of sai.d
Block 69, same being the Southwest corner of
Seventh and Watt Streets;
Thence Southeasterly along the Western line
of Watt Street 110 feet to an iron pin, THE
TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING.
Thence continuing Southeasterly along the
Western .l'ine of Watt Street 150.71 feet to an
iron pipe on the Southeast corner of Lot ~22;
Thence Southwesterly along the Northern line
of a 10 foot wide alley ~66.80 feet to a
railroad spike on the Southwest corner of
said Lot #22;
Thence Northwesterly along the Eastern llne
of a 20 foot wide alley 150.71 feet to an
iron pipe;
Thence Northeasterly and parallel to Seventh
street 166.80 feet to THE TRUE PLACE OF
BEGINNING.
Containing 25,138 square feet, more or less.
