An Ordinance Releasing Certain Sewer
Easements Held By the City in Lots
12, 13, 16, 17 and 18 in Block 133
of the City of Jeffersonville
WHEP~AS, the City holds certain easements of the construction,
maintenance and operation of sewers in that tract of land best des-
cribed as being Lots 12, 13, 16, 17 and 18 in Block 133 of the
City of Jeffersonville, and,
WHEREAS, as a result of the clearance and redevelopment of the
properties comprising this aforesaid tract of land by the Redevelopment
Co~m~ission of the City of Jeffersonville, there is no longer any
need or necessity for the retention by the City of any of its ease-
ments for the construction, maintenance and operation of sewers
within this aforesaid tract of land, and,
?~EREAS, the Redevelopment Commission, as the owner of all of
the aforesaid tract of land, has requested that the City release
all sewer easements it holds in Lots 12, 13, 16, 17 and 18 in Block
133 of the City of Jeffersonville, and the City Council having
considered such request does now conclude that it is in the best
interests of the City to so release such said sewer easements;
NOW, THEP~EFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL that it
hereby releases and terminates all easements the City of Jeffersonville
holds for the construction, maintenance and operation of sewers
in the following described real estate in Clark County, State of
Indiana, to-wit:
Lots 12, 13, 16, 17 and 18 in Block 133 of
the City of Jeffersonville.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
