An Ordinance Vaeating a
Public Right-of-Way
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Commission of the City of Jeffersonville
has petitioned the City to vacate the following described public
right-of-way in the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, to-wit:
Being a part of Twelfth Street in the City of Jeffersonville,
Clark County, Indiana and being further described as follows:
Beginning as a "PK" nail on the Northeast corner of Twelfth
and Spring Streets, same being the Southwest ~rner of Block #133
in said City;
Thence N.58°~8'32"E., along the
329.49 feet %0 a point;
Thence S.18°27'14"E., 3.97 feet
Thence 68.71 feet along the arc
Northern line of Twelfth Street
to an iron pipe;
of a curve %o the right, having
a radius of 57 feet and being subtended by a long chord having a
bearing of 20 54'44"W., and a distance of 63.&3 feet to an iron pipe;
Thence S.60°16'43"W., 250.64 feet to a point;
Thence 52.60 feet along %he arc of a curve %o the right, having
a radius of 29.56 feet and being sub%ended by a long chord having a
bearing of N~68"45'lO"W., and a distance of 45.93 feet to THE PLACE
OF BEGINNING.
Containing 12,449 feet (0.286 acre), more or less.
The above described 5rac~ being subjecv 5o the right of the
City of Jeffersonville %o enter upon said Street %o maintain,
construct or reconstruct a sewer line under %he surface of said
~ r~ c~.
and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning CommissiOn has approved and
recommended such vacation, ....
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED that the right-of-way above
described be and hereby is vacated.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
