IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1527, be
in that the property herein described is reclassified and
as follows:
From R-1 Non-conforming to B-1.
Part of Lot No. 4 of Catherine M.
Hopkins Subdivision in the city of
jeffersonville more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at the
east corner of said Lot No . 4 of
Catherine M. Hopkins Subdivision; thence
N. 40 degrees W. along the northeastern
line of Lot No. 4 and the center line of
Ewing Lane 219.6 feet to a point; thence
at right angles S. 50 degrees W. 30 feet
to an iron pipe in the southwestern
right-of-way of Ewing Lane, the true
place of beginning; thence continuing S.
50 degrees W. 90 feet to an iron pipe;
thence No. 40 degrees W. and parallel to
Ewing Lane 159.91 feet to an iron pipe
in the southern right-of-way of the
Middle Road; thence N. 39 degrees 40.
minutes E. along the southern
right-of-way line of the Middle Road
15.5 feet to a point; thence S. 40
degrees E. and parallel to Ewing Lane
78.69 feet to a point; thence N. 50
degrees E. 34 feet to a point; thence N.
40 degrees W. and parallel to Ewing Lane
84.89 feet to a point in the southern
right-of-way of the Middle Road; thence
N. 39 degrees 40 minutes E. along
the southern right-of-way of the Middle
Road 41.42 feet to an iron pipe in the
southwestern right-of-way line of Ewing
Lane; thence S. 40 degrees E. along the
southwestern right-of-way line of Ewing
Lane 176.32 feet to the true place of
beginning. Subject to a 5 foot easement
over the rear of the above described
property.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
