Ordinance rezonJng certain property from R-i,
Residential, to B-i, Local Business.
B~ IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, that the Zoning Ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 1527, be amended in that the property herein described
is reclassified and rezoned as follows:
From R-i, Residential, to B-i, Local Business, Part of
Lot No. 38 of Latimer & Savitz Subdivision, described
as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Northeast corner
of Lot No. 38 of Latimer & Savitz Subdivision; thence
South along the Western line of Western Avenue or Main
Street and the East line of said Lot a distance of 71
feet to a stake; thence at right angles Westward]y and
parallel with the Northern line of said Lot, 141 feet
to a stake, thence at right angles Northwardly 77 feet
to the center of an alley lying west of Western Avenue
or Main Street between Eighth Street and Ninth Street,
vacated by order of the Clark Circuit Court under Cause
27, 329, said order being recorded in Deed Record 174,
page 458 of the Clark County Recorder's Office; thence
at right angles Eastwardly 141 feet to the Western line
of Western Avenue or Main Street; thence south a distance
of 6 feet along the western line of Western Avenue or
Main Street to the place of beginning of this description,
at the commonly known address of 813 Main Street, Jeffersonville,
Indiana.
This Ordinance shall be in full
