AND R-2 RESIDENTIAL TO R-1 RESIDENTIAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA, that the Zoning Ordinance being
Ordinance No. 1527 be amended in that the property herein
described is reclassified and rezoned as follows: From B-1
Business and R-2 Residential to R-1 Residential.
A part of Surveys No. 10 and No. 20 of the Illinois
Grant in Jeffersonville Township of Clark County,
Indiana, being a part of the same tract conveyed
to the Trustees, of the Benevolent and Protective
Order of Elks, No. 362 at Deed Record 170, page 386
and bounded as follows:
Commencing at the North corner of Survey No. 10 of
the Illinois Grant in the line dividing Surveys No.
10 and No. 20, thence the following courses:
South 54 deg. 42 min. 03 sec. West, 1731.10 feet
with said line dividing Surveys No. 10 and 20;
South 33 deg. 28 min. 24 sec. East, 37.20 feet to
the true place of beginning;
Thence the following courses of the boundary:
South 33 deg. 28 min. 24 sec. East, 290.00 feet to
the line of a tract conveyed to T. J. Atkins at Deed
Record 163, page 206;
South 54 deg. 42 min. 03 sec. West, 669.65 feet with
Atkin's line;
North 35 deg. 09 min. 22 sec. West, 327.03 feet with
Atkin's line to said line dividing Surveys No. 10
and No. 20; North 43 deg. 09 min. 29 sec. West, 533.70
feet with Atkin's line to the centerline of the
jeffersonville-Charlestown Pike;
North 45 deg. 02 min. 00 sec. East, 365.65 feet with
said centerline of the jeffersonvillerChar]estown
Pike;
South 45 deg. 02 min. 11 sec. East, 165.00 feet;
South 49 deg. 40 min. 39 sec. West, 43.15 feet;
South 45 deg. 02 min. 12 sec. East, 150.00 feet;
South 64 deg. 24 min. 25 sec. East, 129.65 feet;
North 61 deg. 31 min. 09 sec. East, 150.08 feet;
South 62 deg. 25 min. 32 sec. East, 204.42 feet;
North 54 deg. 42 min. 03 sec. East, 75.00 feet to
the true place of beginning and containing 10.253
acres of land.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
