CONCERNING PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND
SAFETY AND FOR THE CONTROL OF ANIMALS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA as follows:
Section 1
Ordinance No. 78-OR-43 is hereby
the following provisions.
ISSUANCE OF CITATION
In addition to,
defined in Section I
COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

or in lieu of, impounding an animal (as
of Ordinance 78-OR-43) when such animal
is found at large (not in restraint), any Animal Control Officer,
Police Officer or other Law Enforcement Officer, so authorized,
may issue to the owner of an animal a citation specifying the
section or sections of Ordinance No. 78-OR-43 violated and
indicating the specific nature of the. v~lation. Such citation
shall impose upon the owner of the ~c~ an obligation to appear
in the City Court of Jeffersonville, Indiana to answer the
charges in the citation at the time and place indicated in
the citation.
