ordinance concerning entitlement of certain
city employees t~6 s~alaries'
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON cOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONViLLE, CLARK COUN~_~DI~_~ ....
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of I.C. 36-1-3
and I.C. 36-7-4-207 certain City employees are required
be appointed to certain other positions within the City
to
Government;
and
WHEREAS, these positions have nominal remuneration;
Any City employee, whether elected or appointed, w~o is
also appointed to a Commission, Board or Committee where such
position is required to be filled by a member of the City Government,
such individual shall be entitled to receive, and shall receive,
any fees or salaries which are no'malty provided to any other
individual holding a position on such Board, Commission or
Committee.
This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage
and approval.
