HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-R-06RESOLUTION NO. 84-R-~ A Resolution Opposing the Approval of Rate Increases to Public Service Indiana. WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeifersonville, Indiana, is gravely concerned at the possibility that rate increases may be granted to Public Service Indiana by the Public Service Commission of Indiana, and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville vehemently opposes such rate hikes. IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of Jeffersonville that it is opposed to any increase of rates for Public Service Indiana at this t'ime and that it is of the decided opinion that such an increase would conflict with the best interest of the Citizens of of Jeffersonville. Adopted Indiana this be in direct the City by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, ~ day of February, 1984.
