A Resolution Authorizing the Investment of
Temporarily Surplus Funds.
WHEREAS, The Clerk-Treasurer has on hand in certain accounts more
funds than are currently necessary for the immediate u~of such accounts, and
WHEREAS, the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana now
provide for the temporary investment of such funds.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COFIqON CObq~CIL of the City of Jeffer-
sonville that the Clerk-Treasurer be, and he hereby %s, authorized to invest
the following sums from the accounts, and for the time indicated.
From such accounts the Clerk-Treasurer finds that excess money at
the present time would be more beneficial to the City of Jeffersonville to
invest in Certificates of Deposit.
~]~e time period for such should be left for the discretion of the Clerk-
Treasurer. Time for such investment would not exceed January 1~ 1985.
