AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
B-l, LOCAL BUSINESS, TO R-2, RESIDENTIAL
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Jeffersonville, Indiana, that the Zoning Ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 1527, be amended in that the property herein
described is reclassified and rezoned from B-I, Local Business,
to R-2, Residential:
Parts of Lots Nos. 15 and 16 in Block No. 33 in the Enlarge-.
ment of the City of Jeffersonville, bounded thus: Beginning
at a point on the east line of said Lo~ 15 and west line
of Meigs Avenue 132 feet southeastwardly from the northeast
corner of said. Block; thence with the east line of said
Lots 15 and 16 and west line of Meigs Avenue 43 feet to
a stake; thence at right angles westwardly 123 feet; thence
at right angles northwardly 43 feet; thence at right angles
eastwardly 123 feet to the place of beginning.
Also, part of Lot No. 15 in Block No. 33 bounded thus:
Beginning at a point in the east line of said Lot and
west line of Meigs Avenue 132 feet southeastwardly from
the northeast corner of said Block; thence wi~h the east
line of said Lot No. 15 northwardly 10 feet; thence at
right angles westwardly 123 feet; thence at right angl~s
southwardly 10 feet; thence at right angles eastwardly
123 feet to the place of beginning, having a mailing address
of 425 Meigs Avenue, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
