AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
FROM R-2, RES~DEN~L~ TO 'B-~ G~N~RAL BUSINESS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Jeffersonville, Indiana, t~at the Zoning Ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 1527, be amended in that the property here~n
described ~s reclassified and rezoned from R-2, Residential,
to B-3, Genera] Business:
Uart of Survey No. 11 of the Illinois Grant and more par-
tJcularly described as part of the West half (1/2~ of Lot
14 (Fourteen) of the William C. Childress Subdivision
of Woodland Court, as shown on the plat of said subdivision
which appears of record in Plat Book 3, page 97, ~n the
office of the Recorder of Clark County, Indiana, and being
more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a stake at the southwest corner of Lot No.
11 on the l~ne dividing Lots 11, 12, 13 and 14; thence
Southwestwardly and along the said Two Hundred S~xty-Two
{262) feet more or less to a stake at the southwest corner
of Lot 14; thence northwardly 40 deg. 16' East 260 feet
more or less to $ stake in the South line of a tract of
ground conveyed to the said Elmer Clayton and Alma Clayton,
husband and wife, by William W. Wainer and Ethel Wainer,
his wife, on the 14th day of July, 1948, and recorded
~n Deed Record Book 159, page 128, said point being also
the place where the dividing line diviflJng Lots ll an~
12 would intersect if said line was extended on the same
bearing; thence northwestwardly 60 feet more or ]ess no
a stake, the true place of beginning. The above described
tract being that triangular portion of the real estate
conveyed to Elmer Clayton and Alma Clayton, husband and
wife, by Will~a~ W. WaJner and Ethel Wainer on the 24th
day of July, 1948, and which lies on the west of L~t No.
11.

more particularly described as Lot No. Twelve (12 of
the William C. Childress Subdivision 0f ~W66d]a~d 'C0urr,
as shown on the plat of said subdivision which appears
of record in Plat Book 3, at page 97, in the office of
the Recorder of Clark County, Indiana, which property
~s located at 1910 East Tenth Street, (Highway 6~)
Jeffersonvi]le, Indiana.
Th~s Ordinance shall be in'full force and effect
and after its passage and approval.
