A RESOLUTION OF THE CO~40N COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
.JEFFERSONVILLE REQUESTING THAT ALL DEPARTMENTS WITHIN
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE'S GENERAL FUND BUDGETARY
ACCOUNTS REFRAIN FROM THE COMPLETE DISPERSION OF SAID
FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 1985.
WHEREAS, it is in the best financial interest of the City
of jeffersonville, Indiana to maintain within the General Fund of
the City a minimum of 5% of the budgeted funds for the year 1985,
and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of said City is requesting all
departments within the General Fund to comply with this request by
the Common Council to limit the spending of funds for the year 1985
to not more than 95% of the budgeted amount within those departments.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City
of jeffersonville that it is the decided opinion that such a reduc-
tion of expenditures would be in the best financial interest of the
City
