RESOLUTION CONCERNING SCHOOL GUARDS
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville believes
that it is in the best interest of the safety of the Citizens of Jeffersonville,
particularly the Children of Jeffersonville, to have school crossing guards
available at all congested school crossings; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville believes
that it is impractical to provide Police Officers or other City Personnel
at all times for these crossings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City
of Jeffersonville that they are desirous of Greater Clark County Schools
providing crossing guards in all congested school crossings within the City
limits of Jeffersonville.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
