HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-R-17 WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville
recognizes that business expansion and retention is a priority in
the area of economic development; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council is once again promoting a
successful voluntary "clean-up, fix-up" campaign in the City of
jeffersonville; and
WHEREAS, recognizing that mandatory enforcement of all
ordinances, codes and regulations are necessary in order to complete
this task.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that voluntary compliance
as well as mandatory enforcement of all laws governing the appearance
of our municipality is strongly encouraged; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the citizens of the City of
jeffersonville are requested to assist the proper officers in the
City of jeffersonville to carry out this mandate and, if necessary,
to target those individual property owners who must be directed
to carry out their civic responsibilities.
