WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of
jeffersonville, Indiana, believes it is in the best interest
of the citizens of the State of Indiana that the Public Service
Commission be elected; and
The Common Council of the City of jeffersonville
believes that an elected Public Service Commission would be
more responsive to the needs and desires of the residents of
the State of Indiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville hereby recommends to the Indiana
State Legislature and the Governor of the State of Indiana
that the Public Service Commission should be elected by popular
vote of the residents of the State of Indiana.
