BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
jeffersonville, Indiana, that they wish to go on record as
having advised the Mayor and Other Elected City officials of
projected shortages of income which could create layoffs in
fiscal year 1987. The Council does not wish to see layoffs
but would prefer to see that vacated jobs be left unfilled
until the City can update the 1987 budget. The City must cut
costs to make up approximately $370,000 shortfall in 1987 or
face cutbacks in personnel costs.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of
jeffersonville, Indiana, this 3rd day of February, 1986.
