RESOLUTION CONCERNING PROVISION OF BUILDING SPACE FOR
THE CLARK COUNTY EMPTY STOCKING FUND
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville
believes that the Clark County Empty Stocking Fund provides an
invaluable service to the citizens and children of Clark County;
and
WHEREAS, the "Empty Stocking Fund" used a portion of the
City's building located at 1005 Fulton Street in the City of
Jeffersonville and did substantially improve the appearance of
said building during the year of 1985; and
WHEREAS, the "Empty Stocking Fund" desires to make the same
use of the structure in 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council believes that this would be in
the best interest of the City of Jeffersonville and Clark County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville as follows:
i. The Common Council hereby approves the use of said struc-
ture by the "Empty Stocking Fund."
2. The Common Council requests that the Jeffersonville Board
of Public Works and Safety allow the "Empty Stocking
Fund" to use that portion of the structure located at
1005 Fulton Street in any manner which they deem appropri-
ate, so long as the normal standards of safety and
health are maintained.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, this 6th day of January, 1986.
