WHEREAS, Lieutenant.~arry S. Jordan, of the Jeffersonville
Police Department, has served jeffersonville's citizens with
dedication and integrity beyond reproach since his arrival December
6, 1971; and,
WHEREAS, Lieutenant Jordan's professional endeavors were
recently interrupted by a life-threatening heart disease, resulting
in his undergoing costly and serious surgery for a heart transplant;
and
WHEREAS, the Common Council, of the City of jeffersonville
in the State of Indiana, wishes to make public their support of
and best wishes for the successful and speedy recovery of Lieutenant
Larry S. Jordan.
So resolved by the Common Council of the City of
jeffersonville, Indiana, this 4th day of August, 1987.
