RESOLUTION CONCERNING HOUSE BILL
AND SENATE BILL 358

WHEREAS, the Common Council
has reviewed
Drugs" Bill
Legislature; and
WHEREAS, the
ofthis bill would be
citizens of the City
State of Indiana; and
has
the provisions of Senate
as introduced by Senator
of the City of jeffersonvi]le
Bill 193, the "Get Tough On
Kathy Smith and the Indiana
Common Council believes that the passage
in the best interest of the City, the
of jeffersonville, Clark County and the
WHEREAS, the Common Council
reviewed the provisions of House
of the City of jeffersonville
Bill 1582, the "E911" Bill;
and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville
believes that the passage of this bill would be in the best
interest of the City, the citizens of the City of jeffersonville,
Clark County and the State of Indiana.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
The Common Council of the City of jeffersonville hereby
goes on record as favoring the passage of Senate Bill
358, the "Get Tough On Drugs" Bill.
