OF THE CITY OF EFFERSONVILLE INDIANA CODE OF ORD N___~
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, County of Clark, State of Indiana:
Section ~: The provisions of Ordinance No. 77-OR-4
heretofore passed on February 7, 1977 and codified in the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Jeffersonville, under
Section 33.20 is hereby amended as follows:

The fire department is prohibited from responding on the
first alarm to fire alarms outside the corporate city limits
of the City, with the following exceptions:
(1.) The area previously agreed to by and with the Town
of Clarksville, Indiana, and more specifically the area
bounding Missouri Avenue.
(2.) The fire department of the City of Jeffersonville
shall provide first alarm mutual aid to the McCulloch Volun-
teer Fire Department between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M,.
and 5:00 o'clock P.M. Monday through Friday at the following
schools located in the McCulloch Volunteer Fire Department
protection area: Rivervalley Middle School, Wilson Elementary
School and Riverside Elementary School; as more fully
described in a certain mutual aid agreement entered into by
and between the City of Jeffersonville through its Board of
Public Works and the McCu!louch Volunteer Firefighters
Association.
$_9_C~ 3.' This Ordinance shall become effective upon
its passage, approval and publication as required by the laws
Of the State of Indiana.
