~9_q_~ ~: BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville, County of Clark, State of Indiana,
and pursuant to I.C. 36-10-5-2, that the Park and Recreation
Board heretofore created is hereby abolished by the Common
Council of the City of Jeffersonville.
~ 2~ IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville, County of Clark, State of
Indiana that the Board of Public Works of the City of Jeffer-
hereafter act as the Parks and Recreation

Indiana, that any transfer or sale and/or purchase of any
real estate by the Department of Parks and Recreation shall
be approved by the Common Council of the City of Jefferson-
ville, p~ior to either the acquisition or sale thereof.
Section 4.- It is further ordained by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville, County of Clark, State of
Indiana that should any section of this Ordinance
subsequently be ruled to be in violation of any of the laws
of the State of Indiana and/or or the Constitution of the
United States and/or the Constitution of the State of Indiana
that all other sections shall remain in full force and
effect.
Section 5~ This Ordinance shall become effective upon
its passage, approval and publication as required by the laws
of the State of Indiana.
