ORDINANCE CONCERNING SPEED LIMIT ON ALLISON LANE
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville
believes that the protection of this community's children is of
primary importance to the City; and
WHEREAS, the portion of Allison Lane within the City Limits
near Jeffersonville High School is an extremely congested and poten-
tially dangerous area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of jeffersonville as fOllows:
1. Schedule II of the Jeffersonville Traffic Schedules as
set forth in the jeffersonville City Code is amended as
follows:
That portion of Allison Lane commencing
at the Northern school property line to
the Southern end of the school property
line on Allison Lane during the hours
of 7 A.M. to 8 A.M. and 2 P.M. to 3 P.M.
is hereby designated a 20 M.P.H. speed
zone. This will be effective only dur-
ing regular and normal school days.
This Ordinance shall be in full force following its signing
and publication as required by law.
