ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION REGARDING
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA NOTES OF 1988
WHEREAS,
City of

jeffersonville passed City ordinance 88-OR-44
the City to issue notes in the principal amount of
for the purpose of funding certain improvements
Falls Landing Riverfront Development Project by
repaying obligations incurred by the jeffersonville Department
of Redevelopment to CommerceAmerica Banking Company which
indebtedness was incurred for purposes of meeting obligations
to Mid State Paving, Inc., the successful bidder on the Falls
Landing Riverfront Development Project; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville
has authorized the issuance and selling of notes pursuant to
Indiana code 36-4-6-20, which notes are to be designated as the
"City of jeffersonville, Indiana, Notes of 1988", in the
aggregate principle amount of $200,000.00; and
WHEREAS, a "Statement Relating to the Issuance of
$200,000.00 city of jeffersonville, Indiana, Notes of 1988" has
been prepared by the City Attorney and submitted to this
meeting for review and approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common council of
the City of jeffersonvitle, Indiana:
SECTION ONE
The ,,Statement Relating to the Issuance of $200,000.00
City of jeffersonville, Indiana, Notes of 1988" is hereby
approved in the form presented to this meeting, and the City
Attorney and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed
to distribute such statement, substantially in the form
presented to this meeting with such changes as the City
Attorney and the Clerk-Treasurer might deem necessary or
appropriate to describe adequately such note issue and
information related thereto, to all parties who in their
judgment may be interested in bidding on such note issue and to
the successful bidder for the notes; and the Clerk-Treasurer
shall place a copy of

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon compliance with the procedures required by law.
