ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
R-2, MULTIPLE FAMILY, TO I-2, INDUSTRIAL
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the city of
jeffersonville, Indiana, that the zoning ordinance be amended
in that the property herein described is reclassified and
rezoned from R-2, Multiple Family, to I-2, industrial.
Being located in Clark County in the State of Indiana and being s pert of Survey No. 20
of the Illinois Stent more particularly described ss follow, to-wit;'BEGINNING st a
point in s southwesterly line of the trsct conveyed to W.A.V.E., Inc., by deed of record
135, page 543, in the office of the Recorder of Clark County, Indians, said point being
South 35 degrees 48 minutes 07 seconds East 678.08 feet from the northwest corner of
said Survey No. 201 thence with said southwesterly line of said tract conveyed to
Inc., South 67 degrees, 46 minutes 07 seconds East ~,051.35 feet to sn iron pin on the
western right-of-way line of the Hamburg Pike; thence with said right-of-way line, North
3 degrees 58 minutes [5 seconds East [,400.03 feet to s' point; thence depsrting said rig
of way line~ North 85 degrees 05 minutes 08 seconds West 775.68 feet to a point; thence
South 15 degrees 35 minutes 37 seconds West [,106.06 feet to the point of beginning,

Excepting however the following:
Being a part of Survey No 20.of the Illinois Grant more particularly described ss follov
to-wit: Beginning st s point in a southwesterly line of the tract conveyed to Radio 970,
Inc., by deed of record in Deed Drawer [3, Instr. ~0267, in the office of the Recorder
of Clark County, Indiana, said point being South 35degrees 48' 42" East 978.73 feet,
and South 67 degrees 46' 07" East 93~.43 feet from the northwest corner of said Survey
No. 20; thence with said southwesterly line of said trac~ conveyed to Radio 970, Inc.,
South 67 degrees 46' 07" East 798.00 feet to an iron pin in the western right-of-waY
line of the Hamburg Pike; thence with said right-of-way, North 3 degrees 58' [5" East
~200.00 feet to an iron pin; thence departing said right-of-way line, north 85 degrees
05' 08" West 623.16 feet to an iron pin; thence South [5 degrees 35' 37" West 300.00
feet to a point; thence South ll degrees lO' 56" West 671.52 feet to the place
beginning and containing 17.3889 acres of land.. ':
Total acreage to be conveyed is 8.333~.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon
its timely passage, promulgation and approval by the Mayor.
