HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-OR-50 ORDINANCE NO. 88-OR-~'~ ORDINANCE REGARDING LONGEVITY PAY FOR POLICE OFFICERS IN THE CIT2f~.OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA WHEREAS, it has been the practice Of' the City of jeffersonville to pay all police officers on its payroll longevity pay of one percent (1%) of base pay for each year of service up to a maximum of such base pay; and WHEREAS, Indiana State twenty (20) years in addition to Board of Accounts requires such financial arrangements and co~mnitments on behalf of the City of jeffersonville, Indiana, to its police officers to be memorialized by written ordinance.
