WHEREAS, an lnterlocal agreement for this purpose has been
heretofore executed by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville establishing the billing office for purposes of
collections and disbursements to be a joint fund administered
by the Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Clarksville.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that a monthly fee per telephone
access line will be collected by the service supplier in the
original amount of $.50 per month commencing December 1988 and
continuing monthly thereafter until further action to either
increase or decrease said fee pursuant to the terms of the
interlocal agreement executed heretofore and, that the
Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Clarksville, Indiana, shall
establish and administer a joint fund between the Town of
Clarksville and the City of Jeffersonville for purposes of
depositing access line charges collected by the service
supplier and paid into the joint fund, and also for the purpose
of disbursing monies for the appropriate fees to defray the
expenses of the service supplier in supplying said service.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
timely passage, promulgation and approval by the Mayor.
