HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-OR-40 ORDINANCE NO. 88-OR-~ ORDINANCE DECLARING CERTAIN AREAS IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE BE AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TARGET AREA WHEREAS, the CommOn Council of the City of Jeffersonville is authorized pursuant to the provisions of Indiana Code 6-1.1-12.1-7 to declare by ordinance that a specific geographic an economic development target area within the territory is terms of that statute; and WHEREAS, upon investigation, the area commonly known as the it has been determined that $ & R Truck Tire 23 acre addition to Jeffersonville Industrial Park has become undesirable and impossible for normal development and occupancy because a lack of development, cessation of growth, deterioration of improvements or character of occupancy, age, obsolescence, substandard buildings, as well as other factors which have impaired the ability for normal development of the use of the property.
