AN ORDINANCE A/~ENDING THE
JEFFE~-~ONVILLE~ INDIANA ZONING CODE
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville
pursuant to I.C. 36-4-6-2, and any amendments thereto, is the
City Legislative Body for the City of Jeffersonville; and
WHEREAS, Thomas W. Kempf, Sr. and TWK Properties, Inc.
heretofore duly petitioned to re-zone certain real estate
located in the City of jeffersonville, County of Clark, State
of Indiana, to-wit: (See attached legal description), being
property located at 506 West Market Street; Jeffersonville,
Indiana, which request was granted by said Plan Commission,
recommending that said real estate be re-zoned from R-2
(single/multi-family) to B-1 (local business); and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville
pursuant to I.C. 36-'7-4-607 to 36-7-4-609 is authorized to
amend the Zoning ordinance of the City of jeffersonville; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville
heard evidence regarding the requested re-zoning of the
above-described real estate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL FOR
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, STATE OF INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Common Council hereby re-zones the
attached, described real estate located at 506 West Market
Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana and being owned by TWK
Properties, Inc. - Thomas W. Kempf, Sr. and Nancy Kempf, from
R-2, (single/multi-family) to a B-1 classification being
local business, said real estate being situate in the City
of jeffersonville, County of Clark, State of Indiana.
Section 2: This ordinance shall become effective upon
it's passage and approval as required by the State of
Indiana. ~
