A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE REQUESTING THAT ALL DEPARTMENTS
WITHIN THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE'S GENERAL FUND,
POLICE PENSION FUND~ AND FIRE PENSION FUND
BUDGETARY ACCOUNTS REFRAIN FROM THE COMPLETE DIS-
PERSION OF SAID FUNDS FOR THE YEAR 1988.
WHEREAS,
Jeffersonville,
General Fund of
year 1988, and
it is in the best financial interest of the City of
Indiana to maintain within the General Fund of the
the City a minimum of 5% of the budgeted funds for the
WHEREAS, it is in the best financial interest of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana to maintain within the Police Pension Fund
$50,000.00 of the budgeted funds for the year 1988, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best financial interest of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana to maintain within
$50,000.00 of the budgeted funds for the year
the Fire Pension Fund
1988, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of said City is requesting all
departments within the General Fund to comply with this request by the
Common Council to limit the spending of funds for the year 1988 to not
more than 95% of the budgeted amount within those departments.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of said City is requesting the
Board of the Police Pension to comply with this request by the Common
Council to maintain $50,000.00 of the budgeted amount for the year
