RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSITION OF REAL PROPERTY
ON BEHALF OF THE PARKS DEPARTMENT TO THE
DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS,
Jeffersonville
all

the Department of Redevelopment of the City of
has petitioned the Common Council to consolidate
remaining properties bounded on the east by 1-65; on the
by Illinois Avenue; on the north by Court Avenue; and, on
south by Market Street, which area is commonly known as
"The Piggyback Yard"; and
WHEREAS, such consolidation is in the best interest of the
City of jeffersonville and its Department of Redevelopment and
efforts to develop this property; and
WHEREAS, this property is not now currently being used for
any Parks Department purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE,
the City of Jeffersonville
Department in said property
Department of Redevelopment
herewith.
