THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE'S INVESTIGATIVE POWERS
WHEREAS,

solely by CommerceAmerica Bank as Trustee for the
jeffersonville-Clark County Building Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council retains investigative powers
for the affairs of persons with whom the City has entered into
a contract; and
WHEREAS, the City of jeffersonville has entered into a
lease agreement and contract with the jeffersonville-Clark
County Building Authority for municipal offices in the
City-County Building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of
the city of Jeffersonville that a subpoena for production of
documents should be issued to CommerceAmerica Bank enabling the
Jeffersonville City Attorney to examine all documents kept in
the usual course of business by CommerceAmerica Bank for or on
behalf of the jeffersonville-Clark County Building Authority.
